Community Involvement

Hershey FCU is committed to giving back to the communities we serve. We support and encourage our staff to give their time and effort through various sponsorships and participation in numerous fundraising events throughout the year.

Some of our on-going and previous efforts include the following:

Credit Unions for Kids - Children's Miracle Network

Credit Unions for Kids is an extension of the Children's Miracle Network that benefits local hospitals. We provide donations and participate in events such as the Hot Dog Eating Contest and Miracle Jeans Day!

The Giving Tree of Hummelstown and Hershey

Hershey FCU volunteers in multiple Roll Up Your Sleeves (RUYS) events for The Giving Tree of Hummelstown and Hershey. We provide funding and assistance preparing supply kits that benefit families in the local community needing additional help.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

As part of its on-going community service program, Hershey FCU participates in The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program every year. Through the generosity of Hershey FCU employees and members, toys and clothing are collected for needy children in the Central PA community.

Richard E. Fogleman Memorial Scholarship

Each year we award one $1,000 Richard E. Fogleman Memorial Scholarship to a deserving Hershey FCU member who is pursuing post-secondary education. The scholarship honors former Hershey FCU Board Chairman, Richard E. Fogleman. Scholarship applications are available in our branches or online during specific times of the year.
